Junior Activity Club (0-7yrs)
Aberfeldy Town Hall (main hall) Every Friday 3.20pm-4.45pm A new stay and play activity club for children in the Highland Perthshire area with additional support needs. In conjunction with PAMIS and Highland Perthshire Plus, the club is for children aged 0-7yrs who are disabled and/or have differences in their developmental milestones, communication, social interaction and sensory processing. We offer a safe environment for children to play and explore various toys, games and sensory regulating equipment. We also offer special sessions with invited local practitioners in yoga, music therapy and rugby/ball skills. The club is also for parents/carers to connect with each other and share advice, support, experiences and recommendations over a cuppa and a biscuit.

The Giant’s Kitchen
Alongside a parent/carer, participants cook together. This is held once a month in Aberfeldy Town Hall. Throughout the year outings and social activities are organised. In 2023, this included our Christmas Party, supported by Lodge Breadalbane and the Pantomime at Perth Theatre, supported by Aberfeldy Rotary Club.

Active Adults Opportunities
Funding from the Griffin Fund (an SSE windfarm fund) was secured, which will allow the group to employ a coordinator to deliver two days/week of supported day activities in Highland Perthshire for adults with ASN & disabilities. We will operate a range of initiatives and services within this project, including a community café and associated activities. This will involve one day preparing café food in an external kitchen. The plan for the project is to provide 2 days a week of supported volunteering opportunities. This was planned to be on Mondays and Tuesdays. Soft launch of the Star Café commenced in February 2025. As of October 2025, we serve tea, coffee, soup, and baked goods at the Birks Cinema Café on Tuesdays from 11:30 to 1:00 pm. We have had many ideas about social enterprise activities (making things to sell or providing services we charge for) and projects that benefit the community. We also offer year-round supported activities and work experience opportunities through working with existing community-based facilities. We engage sessional workers to deliver a programme of people-centred activities, developing a community-based garden and other activiites.
